As ourSenior Product Manager for Women's Training, you'll be expected to bring the same passion for performance, innovation and talent that you love about adidas when performing the tasks below.
Purpose:
Strategically plan, build and manage the creation of products within the given category from both an image and commercial point of view.
??Key Accountabilities:

* * Assist in positioning the category and setting the vision
* * Support in analyzing market data and trends
* * Identify opportunity for growth
* * Assist in the creation of the relevant category plan (including product range)
* * Develop the Marketing/Product Strategy and execute the product process
* * Manage the range plan from product brief to commercialization and manage the process (Calendar, SKU?s, Amortization)
* * Coordinate and provide support for Design and Development (build product team)
* * Assist in guiding areas/Subs to ensure correct product selection (Intro, Price, Margin)
* * Support in presenting the Category and Range both internally and externally (Meetings, Launches, etc.)
* * Potentially manage a Product Manager and/or Assistant Product Manager, provide clear direction to direct reports
* * Analyze and report category business performance
* * Builds consumer network for consistent product feedback.

?Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

* * Strong apparel product creation knowledge, including understanding of fabrication, construction and fit.
* * Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional? teams
* * Ability to provide product leadership, including ability to manage/mentor more junior resources
* * Ability to work with and influence all levels of the organization
* * Strong presentation and planning skills
* * Strong process and project management skills
* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* * A thorough understanding of consumer markets, specifically in the sporting goods industry
* * Prior knowledge of taking product from conception through implementation preferred

?Qualifications:

* * Four year college or university,? in Marketing/Business preferred
* * Minimum of four years sports or other product marketing or related experience
* * Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
* * International experience preferred
* * Women's specific product experience preferred.
