As our DMM you'll be expected to Drive product strategies for assigned adidas Retail channel (SP, Core, Original, Factory Outlet, eCommerce) in order to meet or exceed all sales, profitability and turn goals. Develop overall store level plans and ensure product is available at the store to meet or exceed all financial objectives as well as bring your own MVP performance to the tasks below.
Purpose (Brief summary of why role exists):

Key Accountabilities (List the 5-10 major areas of responsibility for role): include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
.Review and analyze the category (ies) product for footwear, apparel and accessories in order to set the seasonal product direction strategy for all bricks and mortar retail divisions to ensure constant business growth and brand enhancement.
.Ensures division has a product regionalization strategy.
.Establish a transition plan (inline to outlet) or transition receipt plan (that reduces the negative impact on margin and inventory turns.
.Review all buyers seasonal business plans prior to order confirmation to ensure that they are compliant with seasonal SKU and receipt plans [Inline:as well as including all products from brand initiatives are supported.]
.[Inline] Confirm seasonal range with space planning team to ensure that seasonal style counts are determined to ensure the appropriate category range plan for each store is adhered to.
.Ensure all samples are distributed to retail stores in an efficient and timely fashion
.Analyze sales, margin and other performance indices on a bi-monthly basis to determine the current and future state of the business.
.Ensure that all cost and retail pricing is accurate within retail back office inventory system.
.Responsible for the planning and execution of all price changes. Establish and communicate seasonal markdowns schedule to staff and field.
.Collaborate with brand and retail marketing on monthly product initiatives and identifying seasonal key items.
.Provide leadership and management direction in the development of the buying team
.Translate top-down category plans into an article and item plan and integrate this with store profiles (merchandize capacity, stockroom capacity, category potential and depth requirements) to create a buy template.
.Allocate the buy across the channel(s) Manages assortment flow.
.Initial allocation
.Proper breadth relative to store capacity and sales potential.
.Proper depth is established to ensure consumer needs can be reliably met.
.Replenishment
.Proper depth is maintained to ensure consumer needs can be reliably met over the stock period.
.Communicating allocations, replenishments and allocations to the stores when developed.
.Manage relationship with distribution centers.
.Manages toolbox calendar and format.
.Oversee floor plan development by floor set/month.
.Ensure assortment strategies and flows are communicated to distribution teams.
.Coordinate booking and distribution calendar with buyers and distributors.
.Manages purchase order approval.
.Manages new store opening MAD dates and Merchandising briefs.
.Re-cap weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance and inventory levels.
.Manages event recaps.
.Ensures stock rebalancing within stores.
.Manages seasonal markdown calendar.
.Manages post-game re-cap.
.Ensures roll up history for seasonal buys (strengths and weaknesses).
.Manages goal setting and performance feedback for group.
